Took us to some lovely places in the mountains with fantastic views. Hill top cafe with super tasty local food. The stifado was great. You must do this tour it’s a full day out and a great tour there was nothing too much trouble with John and he was great with my partners autistic child. We had an absolutely lovely day out for the over land and sea tour. our guide and driver Dimitri was a lovely guy, very informative and a good laugh! we had a bumpy ride in the land rover which was soo much fun, went to eat at a lovely authentic restaurant by the sea and had a lovely swim at the blue lagoon! over all the whole day was enjoyable and i would 10/10 recommend!Posted on TripadvisorVerified Great mountain trip with John We went on the Troodos mountain trip with John. John was great from the outset, very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to accommodate everyone. We explored the mountains, waterfall, villages and much more. From the beginning we could see the calibre of Jimmy’s operation having contacted by WhatsApp and Rachel’s reply by return. The organisation of a bespoke trip for the three of us was arranged in minutes. Jimmy met us on time at the agreed meeting point and it was clear that the trip was going to be fun and Jimmy’s love of Cyprus and his local and detailed knowledge of places and flora and fauna was brilliant. The trip included churches ancient and modern, coffee shop, coastal walk wild and beautiful, a fabulous gorge in the national park with spectacular off roading , a visit to Lara Beach where soon the turtles will be hatching, and stunning mountain scenery above Paphos. We had a fantastic time and would thoroughly recommend Jimmy, Rachel and the company. From the famous ship wreck , up and down dirt roads ,visiting the amazing turtle beach , not only seeing but getting to feed adorable donkeys , then having dinner with the most scenic views that are incredible! The blue lagoon boat trip ,then ending the day with stunning scenery on the drive home , absolutely highly highly highly recommend this trip! The guys make you feel so at ease and are very informative, great job Jimmy's jeeps!! From the moment we got picked up, the staff were exceptionally welcoming, attentive, and highly knowledgeable about the local area, which made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be returning.Posted on TripadvisorVerified Exhilarating day out I fear I will be repeating what so many others have already said but this is a genuinely brilliant day out! We did the Akamas Gorge and road trip to the Blue Lagoon, though the day included so much more than that. The ride is not for the faint hearted with bumpy tracks, hairpin bends and cliffside roads with very steep drops to the side, yet we felt completely safe with John at the wheel. As a couple nearer to seventy than we like to admit, we found the trip exhilarating and a great way to see parts of the island we would not have explored on our own. Booking via email before we arrived in Cyprus was easy (thanks Rachel!) I often hesitate to recommend things to others as we all have different tastes and expectations but I really doubt that anyone would be disappointed by this day out. Highlight of the trip! What. A. BLAST! I can't recommend Jimmy's Jeep Tour more highly. I've been coming to Cyprus for years but this was my first time in Akamas. Unfortunately it was a rainy day and I was skeptical about how fun the Akamas Tour would be. Thanks to John's amazing driving and spirit, it was a blast. I wish it could have been longer. Don't even hesitate and just book this tour. You will feel safe throughout and see a part of Cyprus you couldn't see otherwise. I was really impressed and amazed by the kindness and professionalism!
