We’ve just returned from a wonderful week in Cyprus. Our young people had been keen to do a jeep safari, so we chose Jimmy’s Jeep Adventures & Safari and we’re so glad we did! We opted for the Land & Sea Safari, and it was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday. We were picked up just around the corner from our villa, which was incredibly convenient. The day started with a visit to the Edro III Shipwreck, travelling via Coral Bay Beach and the banana plantations. From there, we headed to Agios Georgios Harbour, where we had time to explore the charming church and harbour before stopping for a refreshing drink. Our next stop was Lara Bay, where we learned about the important conservation work being carried out to protect the turtle nests. We then made our way to the Baths of Aphrodite, stopping en route to drive through a semi-abandoned Turkish Cypriot village and feed some friendly donkeys. Lunch was at a lovely spot with stunning views across the crystal clear blue waters. The final part of our adventure took us to Latchi, where we boarded a boat to the spectacular Blue Lagoon. Swimming in the beautifully clear turquoise water was the perfect way to end an amazing day. Our guide, John, was knowledgeable, friendly, and had a great sense of humour, making the whole experience both informative and lots of fun. We would highly recommend Jimmy’s Jeep Adventures & Safari to anyone looking for a fun filled day exploring some of the incredible sights Cyprus has to offer. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish.Posted on TripadvisorVerified Best Day of your Holiday I did the full day Troodos Mountains and Villages tour - and it was a very full day. We made 7 stops at points of interest, plus another stop for lunch. Some stops were photo opportunities at beauty spots, but we also had plenty of time to explore Kykkos Monastery and Omodos village. John was a great host and added a couple of stops when he heard about interests within the group. He clearly knows where these gems are and blended them into the tour. It was a small group, so not as lively as other tours I've done with Jimmy's Jeep Adventures, but nothing was lost. Lunch was meze and we practically had to beg them to stop feeding us ! Great value for money. John's off road driving was safe and we reached areas and sights unreachable by minibus or coach. He stopped to point out trees, shrubs etc native to Cyprus too (but no mouflon sightings unfortunately !). I have a disability and needed help getting in and out the jeep, but John had a folding step (great for kids too) and helped me do this safely. He joked about having his first aid kit on standby - which highlighted that there is one in the jeep. John was full of fun (with a great playlist) and he made it a fantastic day. Cannot fault any part of the day and highly recommend Jimmys Jeep Adventures to anyone travelling to Paphos.Posted on TripadvisorVerified Definitely a must when your visiting cyprus So glad we done this definitely a must for when your next in cyprus and looking for something different to do. We booked the over land and sea and joined a group. We were the first ones to be picked up by john such a lovely guy and what a laugh. Showed us sights and places you wouldn't think of. Visited the ship wreck, Lara Bay, took us off road though a semi abandoned village then a boat trip to the blue lagoon. Not a bad way to spend a day (were picked up at half 8 and dropped back off at hotel round about 5ish)Posted on TripadvisorVerified Jimmys Overland & Sea adventure What a blast we had on Jimmys Overland & Sea adventure this week. Seen so much with lots of banter on the way. From the Beaty spot stops, turtles at Lara beach and the amazing blue lagoon boat trip - couldn't fault a thing ! Spoke to another family at our hotel and they did a blue lagoon trip and ended up spending 2hrs on a coach to the boat and an 1hr 45mins return trip back. They were extremely jealous when we told the of our trip - Jimmys tours is a must do on your paphos holiday !Posted on TripadvisorVerified A brilliant day out Took this trip with my daughter and grandson. An absolutely fantastic day on the Akamas Peninsula with Fontana Amoroza Bay. Jimmy was great. So much fun. Told us loads about the places we went. Oh boy were we shaken about in the back of the jeep but that was part of the fun. We had such a laugh. BREATHTAKING What can I say, it’s fair to say this is one of the best trips I’ve ever done. Jimmys jeep adventures is not to be missed. I’m a very large person (48 stone) and therefore I’m always apprehensive about these excursions. However they were put to rest as soon as we were picked up. The jeeps suspensions are fantastic and combine the off road experience with comfort. I sat in the back of the jeep with 3 of my family members and had plenty of room and a lovely cool breeze coming through the vehicle on a hot day. Our driver was very professional and we had no safety concerns whatsoever. We visited numerous places and the sights are breathtaking. I won’t give anymore spoilers but this is an absolute must if you are even thinking of doing it.
