Paphos Mountain Villages Half Day Tour

Leaving the coast behind we will begin our tour through breathtaking mountain scenery toward Asprokremnos Dam followed by a picturesque drive through Diarizos Valley.

A brief stop for coffee in one of the small mountain villages will precede our drive to the Gelafos Venetian Bridges, dating back to the 15th century.

Next we will take an off-road adventure through the forest, where the native Moufflon make their home….. keep your cameras ready incase a rare sighting occurs!

Kykkos Monastery is our next stop, the most famous and richest monastery in Cyprus where stunning gold icons are displayed. A stop for lunch in Pedhoulas village where a traditional Cypriot buffet is served in a local restaurant*

We continue on to Mount Olympus, the highest point in Cyprus before visiting the village of Omodhos, whose cobbled streets combined with local craftspeople are sure to delight.

The final stop of the day is the famous Aphrodites Rock (Petra du Romiou) where should you wish you can swim or simply enjoy the view.

Pick up and drop off at your hotel is included within Paphos area, pick up from other areas at a supplement. Essential things to bring: To enter the monastery it is essential that you cover from shoulders to knees, Suitable footwear is advised , swimwear and towel should you wish to swim at Aphrodites Rock.
